The Ramset™ Design Calculator is a tool which allows you to calculator the Tensile and Shear Capacity of an Anchor when using a Chemical or Mechanical Anchoring System

It also performs a “Design Check” based on the capacities calculated if you also input the “Factored Applied Loads” (otherwise known as the Design Tensile Action Effect N* and the Design Shear Action Effect V*).

It utilizes the technical information found in the latest edition of the Ramset Specifiers Resource Book.

The simple selection process allows you to access the desired anchoring system product in 3 to 4 simple steps as follows;

Step 1 – Select Chemical or Mechanical Anchor

 Step 2 – Select Concrete Type – “Cracked” or “Non-Cracked”

Step 3 – Select Anchor Type

Step 4 – Select Product

Once the desired anchoring system product is selected, you can either click on the “Product Details” tab for information on the product or you can click on the “Open Calculator” tab for the Design Calculator on the product.

The product details tab will take you to the Ramset™ Website Link for the product you have selected. For example, if you have selected ChemSet™ Reo 502™, you will be taken to the following website page;

The “Open Calculator” tab will open the Ramset™ Design Calculator which is an excel based spreadsheet. An example of its appearance is shown in the following image;
